Frankfurt timeless

19 of the 20 tallest buildings in Germany are in Frankfurt! An impressive skyline. But what particularly fascinates me about it is the simultaneous visibility of old Frankfurt. From the coronation cathedral of German emperors, medieval city fortifications to neoclassical buildings such as the old opera, the lines of modern Frankfurt combine harmoniously with its historic buildings.

I made these contrasts between old and new visible by choosing certain locations and perspectives. As a visitor, you often only pay attention to one or the other.
